"Hallo Katy-
We are back form our wonderful vacation at Club Med! Everything was
perfect and we enjoyed our stay in Columbus Isle. For my wife and me is
a perfect combination of beautiful beaches and relax; for the rest of
the family is a great place where French, Italian, Canadian and US have

"Hi Katya, We had a great
trip – thanks for all your help. Couples Negril was, as usual,
fantastic. Food, service, facilities, people, activities, all
great. H2 was…interesting. Location is great – nice beach and we took
some walks south on the 7 mile. Food was OK at best. On a
scale of 1-10 where Couples is a 9 or 10 the H2 food was maybe a 4 or 5.
Certain things were really good (grilled lobster), but much of the food
was uninspired (watery scrambled eggs, canned fruit at breakfast,
limited choices at dinner). The Pastafari restaurant was really
good – a high spot. The rooms were like an 80’s time capsule.
Clean, but with silly grandma-style bedspreads and drapes, really dated
furniture, and a desperate need for remodeling. The rooms felt
about as tropical as a cheap motel in Jersey. No balconies either,
which is a big loss. Service was OK to good. Glenn"

Turquoise:
-good: sports in general (tennis, hobbiecat, windsurf, ping pong);
accommodations; beach;
-not good: assistance at arrive and delivery of suitcases at rooms
after 1h; restaurant and food in general (low level). Thanks a lot
for your cooperation - everything from you was great.

"Couples Sans Souci is a
fabulous resort! We loved everything about it! Service was
impeccable - delicious meals, unlimited beverages, great
entertainments, variety of activities offered during the day. We
were impressed with housekeeping and turndown service they offered.
We also spent some time at AuNatural facilities - great time by the
swim-up bar.. Bartenders were very friendly and attentive to all our
requests.

"Hello Katya, The trip went without a snap!
Everything you arranged was done in a timely way. The Grand
Palladium was not my cup of tea. Some of the folks there loved it,
but it was way too big for me. I didn’t much care for the food and
the service was slow. Slow service does not bother me that much,
but it seem to bother the others. The Jamaicans are a lovely people
and very warm and kind. Now... The Couples San Souci was fab!
Katya, that hotel is my kind of vacation spot - it is so well placed
on the Jamaican shore, absolutely lush and lovely and well
maintained. The staff, food and service was good. I thoroughly
enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others. Please keep me
abreast of any interesting and economical destinations that you hear
about in the future.
Thanks again, you made our vacation very hassle free and
enjoyable. It means so much to a traveler who is outside their own
country and to know that all has been arranged and that you are only

"Hello Katya,
Bobbie and I had a very nice time at the Riu Palace Aruba.
Here's our impressions of the resort:
- The facilities were great. The pool area in particular
was the nicest we have seen at any luxury hotel we've stayed
at. The infinity pool was very relaxing and the swim up bar
area was very nice. Bobbie liked the recliners in the pool
where you could sun yourself while being partially
submerged. All of the common areas were kept very clean.
- The room was fine. It was a Jr. Suite on the 9th floor
(out of 10) in the main building with a frontal view of the
pool area and ocean. Everything worked and we had no issues
with the air conditioning which I had read some complaints
about in other reviews. Ours cooled the room with no
problem. Housekeeping kept the room clean and we had no
issues.
- Overall, the service in the hotel was very extremely
good. The pool area and the restaurants in particular had
great service. The people at the front desk were very
helpful but it was sometimes tough getting through to them
from our room.
- The beach area was very nice. My one complaint about the
beach is the fact that there are so few of the thatched
umbrella's that people come down at about 6:30 to put towels
on them to reserve them and then leave. There's the same
situation with parasols at the pool area. There were just
too few of them and people reserved them with towels.
There's a hotel policy against this but it is not enforced.
- The buffet food was
okay. The various buffets were very well done and the food
was plentiful. We are not particularly buffet people, but
there were always enough things for us to eat and everyone
there was very helpful. They kept the various items well
stocked and, as I mentioned previously, the service
was really excellent. We were able to get made to order
omelets, eggs, stir fry and pasta which was a positive.
The specialty restaurants left a lot to be desired. We
tried three of them (Krystals, the Italian and the Japanese)
and the only one that was okay was the Italian. It wasn't
great, but it beat the other three. After eating at them
for three consecutive nights, we ate at the buffet the rest
of the time there.
- The night time entertainment was amateurish and very
poor. The shows were not worth going to see, and
most people didn't.

There are really very few activities that are included.
There's water aerobics, water polo and beach volleyball.
There are no water sports included - you had to rent the
equipment or go on an excursion.
Overall, we had a very nice time. The location is first
rate as are the facilities. We thought the service was
among the best we have experienced at a hotel. The food is
okay and the entertainment non-existent. It is a great
hotel, on a great beach, on an island with great weather and
it has great facilities. If you're going for the food,
entertainment or included activities you will be
disappointed. We weren't going for those things so we had a
great relaxing vacation.
